Abbey commenced working with Maroochy District Animal Hospital as a Kennel Hand and thoroughly loved contributing to the team. Last year she completed her final year of schooling whilst also working at the clinic and studying Certificate II in Animal Studies, working towards Vet Nurse.

Abbey’s love for animals, all shapes and sizes developed early which led her to pursue a career helping them. Abbey can not resist her daily interactions with animals. Abbey has numerous animals of her own – horses, snakes, budgies, dogs and chickens, not to mention the numerous animals she takes in to be rehomed. Abbey also enjoys volunteering for WILVOS, she is passionate about caring for wildlife and goes out of her way to help sick and injured animals and assisting in their rehabilitation.
